Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kesulitan siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal materi operasi hitung pada bentuk aljabar di MTs Negeri 1 Pontianak. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif dengan bentuk studi kasus.Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah 6 orang siswa kelas VIII F. Darianalisis data diketahui kesulitan dan faktor penyebab kesulitan yang dialami siswa.Kesulitan tersebut meliputi kesulitan mengidentifikasi koefisien, kesulitan mengidentifikasi variabel, kesulitan mengidentifikasi suku sejenis, kesulitan melakukan operasi penjumlahan dan pengurangan pada suku yang bernilai negatif, kesulitan menentukan hasil operasi penjumlahan dan pengurangan suku tak sejenis, kesulitan menentukan hasil pengurangan suku satu dengan suku dua, dan kesulitan melakukan sifat distributif perkalian pada penjumlahan.Faktor penyebab diantaranya tidak memahami konsep variabel, tidak memahami konsep suku sejenis, dantidak mampu menerapkan konsep penjumlahan dan pengurangan pada bilangan bulat.   Kata kunci : Kesulitan Siswa, Faktor Penyebab     Abstract: This research aims to find out students’ difficulties in solving arithmetic operations of algebra expression St MTs 1 Pontianak. This research used descriptive method with case study research form. The subject of this research were 6 students of class VIII F. The data was analyzed to find out students’ difficulties and the causative factors. The difficulties included the difficulty in identifying coefficient, difficulty in identifying variable, difficulty in identifying similar tribes, difficulty in performing addition and subtraction operations of negative tribes, difficulty in determining the result of addition and subtraction operation of distinct tribes, difficulty in determining the result of subtraction between single tribes and double tribes, and also difficulty in performing distributive properties of multiplication over addition operation. The causative factors were the inability in understanding the concept of variable, inability in understanding the concept of similar tribes, and inability in applying the concept of addition and subtraction of integers.    Key words : Students’ Difficulties, Causative Factors

Abstract

AbstractThis thesis is titled Efforts to increase student learning motivation in educational interactions in sociology subjects in XI IPS 3 class at SMA Santo Fransiskus Asisi Pontianak. The background of this research is the low activity of students due to lack of motivation. This research is a class action research. Data collection is done by field notes, observation sheets and documentation. The results showed that: (1) Planning of learning motivation through educative interaction of sociology subjects in Class XI IPS 3 students at SMA Santo Fransiskus Asisi Pontianak first cycle by looking at the results of the planning observation sheet ie, was at 4.25 with a good category as well as at the second cycle is at a value of 4.36 with a good category. (2) The implementation of learning motivation through educative interactions of sociology subjects in Class XI IPS 3 students at SMA Santo Fransiskus Asisi Pontianak, first cycle by looking at the results of the observation sheet which is in value 4 with good category as well as in second cycle which is at value 4, 4 in the good category. (3) There is an increase in motivation to learn through educational interactions in sociology subjects in Class XI IPS 3 students in SMA Santo Fransiskus Asisi Pontianak by 26% where in the first cycle by 45% the category is quite active while in the second cycle is 71% with the active category.Keywords: Efforts to Improve, Learning Motivation, Educational Interactions, Sociology                 Subjects

Abstract

AbstractThe study of feminism of the main character in the novel Khutbah di Lembah Bawah by S. Jai and the plan for implementing learning in this school was raised because it discussed literary works with an awareness of gender differences related to culture, literature, and real adventures. This research used descriptive method, in a form fquallitative. The approach of that was used in this research is Kritik Sastra Feminism. The data of this research was novel Khutbah di Bawah Lembah by S.Jai and the data that were collected is the data of the feminism of the main character. The result of the position and role of the main character in the family and society are: 1) the position of the main character in the family (a) as a wife, (b) as a mother. 2) the position of the main character in the society (a) as a cigarette labourer in factory. The role of the main character in the family is as a house wife whereas the  role of her in the society is as a cigarette labourer in factory in which she was spent her time in the factory. The result of the unjustified gender in main character (1) Gender and Marginalisation, (2) Gender and stereotype, (3) Gender and work load, (4) gender and violance. The result of main character' sstruggle (1) Provides understanding, (2)Expressing an opinion. Based on the data analysis, this research resulted a conclusion which are (1) the position and role of the main character in the family and society, (2) the form of gender in justification of the main character, (3) the struggle of the main character. Keywords: Main Character’s Feminism
